Maintaining and Looking After Your Church - Seminar 14th September 2018

The Eventbrite page is now live for the above seminar. Please book your places as soon as possible as space is limited.

The Ulster Historic Churches Trust (UHCT) and the National Churches Trust (NCT) are delighted to be able to present a half day seminar, led by professionals, where we will explore the importance of maintenance and early diagnosis of potential issues as well as looking at what help is out there to help you stop minor problems becoming major ones. Speakers include Manus Deery (Assstant Director in the Historic Environment Division of the Department of Communities), Chris McCollum (Conservation Accredited Builidng Surveyor specialising in historic buildings), Nigel Mills from the National Churches Trust and Peter Mojsa from the Allchurches Trust.

Chris McCollum will be providing an update on the UHCT's Maintenance Pilot Scheme which was launched in 2017. We will also hear from two churches about their experiences from taking part in the first round of the scheme. Nigel Mills will tell us about the NCT's new grant programmes which are being launched in the Autumn as well as introducing us to NCT's new 5 year strategy. And Peter Mojsa will update us on how the Allchurches Trust is currently supporting Places of Worship and how you can access their funding.

The seminar will end with a Question and Answer Session and the speakers will be available throughout the morning if you have a specific question about your Place of Worship
